Running Paper is an AI marking platform for schools. You can upload up to a 1000 pages of assessment in one single upload and the platform does the rest. Allocation to student, marking, feedback, and question level analysis is done automatically within seconds.

When students submit their handwritten work, the platform uses advanced processing techniques to mark and provide feedback. The platform recognises and assesses the content based on predefined marking criteria, offering suggestions and automated feedback.

The accuracy of the handwriting recognition machine learning model is high, out of the box it is greater than 95% accurate. Once converted to digital format we pass the text to a large language model to further improve the accuracy.

Yes, we take the privacy and security of your students' data very seriously. All student submissions and personal data are securely stored and processed in compliance with UK GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.

No, we do not train any large language models on student data. Your students' work and personal information remain private and are never used for model training purposes.

Each school and educational organisation we work with has a dedicated account manager for any queries. For general inquiries you can reach us via our contact form.

You'll have access to a fully interactive dashboard with detailed analytics on each assessment and submission. This includes the actual uploaded submissions, the converted digital text, feedback for each question and individual and overall scores. You can review both individual student metrics as well as class wide performance, allowing you to track progress in real time.
